Радиолокационная система наблюдения, использующая передатчики/приёмники (запросчики) и приёмоответчики.

secondary surveillance radar; SSR
A surveillance radar system which uses transmitters/receivers (interrogators) and transponders.
Note.— The requirements for interrogators and transponders are specified in Chapter 3.
